    The German actor presides over the jury for the 17th Zurich Film Festival’s Feature Film Competition.     The new ZFF label "Sounds" celebrates film music

    The 17th Zurich Film Festival is turning up the volume with its new “Sounds” label this year in order make the subject of film and music even more audible. The section, which presents half-a-dozen films about musicians or on the topic of music, is complemented by additional musical events such as concerts and panels as well as a live scoring and a live commentary.

    The ZFF Academy unites emerging filmmakers. They meet for a five-day support programme and attend masterclasses by renowned personalities from the world of film.
