Only Lovers Left Alive

Adam is a brilliant musician and a gifted inventor. This highly educated vampire lives completely isolated on a secluded Detroit industrial estate. He rarely leaves his well-equipped house. Shopping, to add to his vintage guitar collection etc., is left to his right-hand man Ian. Frustrated by people, whom he calls zombies, Adam has become somewhat depressed over the centuries. When his greatest love Eve – the two are in an intensive long-distance relationship – becomes aware of his loneliness, she leaves Moroccan Tangier and heads to Detroit. Here, she manages to cheer up the dejected Adam with her supremely graceful style. However, when Eve’s wild sister Eva announces her first family visit for 87 years, things spiral out of control.
