After placing an advertisement in the newspaper, private detective Rómulo finds the perfect candidate for his latest case: Sergio, dapper, 83 years old, several months a widower and now a spy. He has been sent by Rómulo as an undercover resident in an old people’s home in Chile to discover whether the mother of his client is being exploited. Full of the joys of discovery and equipped with a notepad, smartphone and fountain pen camera, he throws himself into his new adventure. Little by little, Sergio begins to understand the lives of the residents, lose sight of his real mission and discover some completely unexpected truths. Maite Alberdi’s intelligent documentary portrays life in old age in the style of a wonderful spy comedy.
