The Report
Senator Dianne Feinstein instructs her new employee, Daniel Jones, to investigate the CIA’s methods of interrogation following the 9/11 attacks. Hundreds of hours of recorded interrogations with potential terrorists were previously destroyed by the CIA. In a basement, Jones and his staff search through countless files and documents to shed light on the so-called “extended interrogation techniques.” In their research, they come across unthinkable, brutal practices, which, on top of everything, were completely useless. Before Jones and Feinstein have a chance to go public, however, the CIA and the White House are doing their utmost to prevent publication using all possible means. THE REPORT is an enthralling, old-school political thriller, thriving on an extraordinary performance by Adam Driver.
