Following the death of her mother, 17-year-old Prudence finds herself alone in the family apartment. After getting to know a motorcylce gang through her new friend Marilyne, she throws herself headlong into a life of parties and sex. But the loss of her mother still plays on her mind. What Prudence mistakenly sees as freedom is in fact suppressed feelings of loneliness and grief. Rebecca Zlotowski’s first feature film is also Léa Seydoux’s leading role debut.
