Since the death of her husband, interpreter and single mother Sandra leads her life on autopilot. She has to function – for her young daughter, but more importantly for her father, Georg, who suffers from advanced dementia. The whole family joins forces to find a place for him in a care home, a task that equates to running the gauntlet through the French healthcare system.
