In a suburb of Belgrade, dominated by grey prefabricated buildings, Ana observes a woman from a safe distance. It would not be the first time that she has followed a complete stranger. Even after 18 years, she is still unable to grasp that her son died shortly after having been born, as the doctors claimed. Convinced that her baby has been sold and may still be alive, she sets out for a quest one last time. The bureaucracy of the city hospital, ignorant policemen and even her own family, which has long since laid the topic to rest, all stand in her way. However, this time, Ana finds a lead...
