Instead of seaside holidays, Tomás gets given a video camera by his parents. Together with his best friend, Haris, he films everything and everywhere, even in secret. Through the camera, he observes things that cause him concern: Why does his father disappear on a regular basis and still lie to him about it? What are his parents keeping from him? Haris also uses the camera to tell the story of his life. After a dispute with Haris' father, his mother decides to return to her home country of Croatia. Will Tomás and Haris finally get to see the sea there?
