by Bastian Günther
Headhunter Clemens Trunschka has been waiting for an assignment like this for ages: Hiring the CEO of the Texas Oil Company for a German car company. Unable to get close to the well-protected businessman during a conference in Germany, he is sent instead to track him down in Houston, Texas. Like a stalker, Trunschka follows the oil baron to bars, nightclubs and golf courses, but still never manages to secure a personal audience with him. The highly successful headhunter takes to the bottle – finding himself on one occasion sitting fully clothed in the hotel bath with a bottle of whiskey in his hand. The only guy by his side is a chance acquaintance named Robert. Trunschka would rather avoid a friendship with this spirited American, but soon realises he’s the only hope he has of successfully completing his task. In his first full-length feature film, Bastian Günther journeys through the superficially shiny world of airports, hotel lobbies and big corporations.
