Euphoria

Sisters Ines and Emilie could not be more different. Ines is confident and from an early age has set off on her own path to build a career as a photographer in New York. Emilie is introverted and stayed at home to take care of their sick mother. When the mother dies, Emilie asks Ines to go on a mysterious journey. It is only when they reach their destination, a sun-drenched guesthouse in the middle of a remote forest opening, that Ines discovers why Emily has brought her to exactly this place. Director Lisa Langseth’s first English language production is an atmospheric and deeply emotional film full of unexpected surprises. Brilliantly interpreted by Alicia Vikander and Eva Green, EUPHORIA is a beautifully polished meditation on family, life and transience.
