by Francesco Rizzi
It is on one of those cold days when the first snow of the season could fall at any time. Michael is sitting behind the windscreen of his white van. He is watching a woman as she sets off on a jog. As a test customer in stores and hotels, he is usually paid to watch, however, observing the unapproachable Anna seems to be his own private undertaking. As the two meet more often, an unspoken trust develops between the sad woman and the mysterious man. He is the first man in quite a while she allows to enter her house. Michael slowly begins to realise that Anna does not want to face reality, and that there is only one way to help her. The first feature of Ticinese director Francesco Rizzi is the haunting chronicle of an impossible love characterised by poetic imagery and psychological depth.
