Juliette Binoche is an icon of French cinema who also made it in Hollywood. With her effortless ability to navigate the entire spectrum of genres, the character actress has stood in front of the camera for such director greats as Jean-Luc Godard, Louis Malle and Olivier Assayas. She received an Oscar for her in role in THE ENGLISH PATIENT (1997), and a further Oscar Nomination in 2000 for her performance in CHOCOLAT.
