The Apartment with Two Women

Yi-Jung lives together with her mother, Su-kyung, in a tiny apartment in South Korea. Violent arguments, death threats and beatings from her mother are part of Yi-Jung's everyday life. Her desire for a harmonious household evaporates afresh when her mother hits her with the car following an argument, and the mother-daughter relationship derails once more. Instead of the long-awaited apology Yi-Jung hopes to get from her mother, Su-kyung continues to protest her innocence.
