In the early hours of the morning at a train station in rural India, brothers Gautam and Raman are about to leave for an extravagant wedding. But then they encounter Jhumpa, whose five-month-old daughter has disappeared during the night. Driven by his sense of justice, Raman immediately wants to help the desperate mother. The search for the missing baby leads the two vastly different brothers and Jhumpa into the Indian hinterland and the demimonde. Karan Tejpal is a director and screenwriter with two decades of work experience in the Indian film industry. He began his career working on big Bollywood productions before collaborating on various projects in the advertising and television sectors. His path ultimately led him to independent cinema. He studied film at New York Film Academy. His work as a screenwriter has been recognised by the Sundance Screenwriters Lab (2016) and the NFDC Screenwriters Lab. 2023 STOLEN
