When 25-year-old rapper Nazar, is released after a month in police custody, he not only has to look financial difficulty in the eye, but still faces accusations of robbery. Nevertheless, the Austrian of Iranian descent, whose lyrics have already caused quite a stir, throws his energy into the production of his new album. Filmmaker Arman T. Riahi accompanies the rapper and his friends Vahid and Musti, who call themselves “the blackheads”, through their everyday lives on the streets of Vienna. Nazar offers us a deep insight into his world of ideas and his life as he balances between desperate anger and positive creative energy. While Nazar insists he will leave the streets behind him for good, a whole new generation of rappers are facing the same challenges.
