The setting for this investigative thriller is a nursing home in the centre of Hong Kong. When this tip lands on the desk of the investigative department of a Hong Kong media house, journalist Kay begins the investigation of her life. In order to uncover the abuses, she poses as the daughter of a patient and allows herself to be infiltrated into the home. The thriller is inspired by true events and tells the story of a journalist who is confronted with a momentous decision because of the decreasing freedom of the press in China and her personal bias: What price is she willing to pay to bring the truth to light?
