Lawyer Canan divides her time between the courthouse during the day and her mother's hospital bed at night. As the trial of a murder suspect she's defending proceeds, Canan is presented with unexpected difficulties. During the recess, she learns that her client actually committed the crime, but with virtuous intent. Faced with a moral dilemma and torn between law and justice, Canan has to make a decision that will have serious consequences both for herself and for those around her. In his second feature film, Turkish director Selman Nacar deals with profound questions about morality and justice. An exceptionally tense courtroom drama!
