Armed with gaspers and coffee, this film features dishevelled, eccentric or bored personalities such as Billy Murray, Tom Waits and Steve Buscemi – as well as Cate Blanchett in a terrific double role. Cult director Jim Jarmusch pays a charming black and white homage to his fellow actors.
