Amadeus

Forman depicts the last ten years of W.A. Mozart’s life from the perspective of his archrival Antonio Salieri who secretly resented the brilliantly accomplished Mozart. With AMADEUS, it was the director’s intention to present Mozart to today’s audiences. He turned the composer into a hero producing a sumptuously staged, intoxicating music biopic.
