Una Primavera

Fiorella Primavera has had enough. Following her husband’s latest outburst, she finally wants to escape her 40-year marriage and files for divorce. Such a life full of insults, humiliations and violence should be a thing of the past. She finds refuge with her daughter Valentina in Berlin, far away from her house in rural Italy. Valentina wants to accompany her mother on the path to self-determination with a camera. Together they drive back to their hometown, where Fiorella is determined to make her own future. A disturbing journey unfolds in which she not only has to face her ex-husband, but also the patriarchal structures of her entire surroundings – and herself.
