Rosie & Moussa
by Dorothée van den Berghe
Rosie and her mother move to the other end of town. This new and multi-cultural block right next to the train tracks is not exactly what Rosie had hoped for. Yet, the neighbourhood proves not to be so bad when she meets Moussa, a boy from a large family making a lot of noise in a small space on the tenth floor. Together they hide on the roof, paint the city in red and green and play tricks on the simple-minded caretaker. However, for now the most important thing for Rosie is to find her father. After all, the girl just wants her parents to get along... Based on the eponymous children's book by Michael de Cock and Judith Vanistendael, ROSIE & MOUSSA unpretentiously tells a wonderful story of separation, friendship, dreams – and Murphy's Law.
