The deceased Bella is brought back to life by the unorthodox scientist Dr. Godwin Baxter. Reanimated in the body of an adult, but with the soul of a small child, Bella wants to see more of the world. She attaches herself to slick lawyer Duncan Wedderburn and embarks on a whirlwind adventure across the continents.
