After parting with his boyfriend, introverted thirty-something Paolo seeks comfort in a nightclub in Turin. There, the free-spirited – and heavily pregnant – vagabond Mia literally falls into his arms. The woman with the pink mane initially proves to be an ungrateful annoyance, who Paolo, however, does not have the heart to leave alone. After ‘borrowing’ his employer’s van, the two dissimilarly lost souls embark on an unpredictable road trip to the South in search of the child’s father – a journey into their respective pasts and into an uncertain future. With Isabella Ragonese and Luca Marinelli cast as the protagonists, Fabio Mollo's emotional and beautiful second film features two of Italy’s most exciting young performers.
