Gattu has no parents, but he does have a great passion: His favourite thing in the whole world is flying kites. He could wish for nothing more in life than to finally master Kali, a puzzling black flying dragon that reigns over the skies of Gattu’s hometown. In order to realise his dream, Gattu has to climb to the highest point of the city – but that just happens to be the roof of the school where he is not allowed to go. Gattu, however, sneaks in disguised as a pupil. The problem is that Gattu can’t read! And so he casts a web of lies about him. “The truth always wins” is the school’s motto. But does this also apply to Gattu?
