A pick-up driver sets off on the long journey from Kathmandu airport to a remote mountain village with a delivery arriving from abroad. At the same time, a solitary figure with a small red suitcase makes his way along the country road towards the same village. Along the seemingly endless roads, mysterious events take place that may be directly related to the delivery. In his remarkable feature film debut, anthropologist and filmmaker Fidel Devkota reflects the mood in Nepal today, which is marked by political and economic uncertainty. Fidel Devotka is a director and screenwriter from Nepal who trained as an anthropologist. His first short film THE LAST YAK HERDER OF DHE was released in 2014. This was followed in 2016 by his second short film WIND CHANGE IN LO MUSTANG.
