"Going for the top" is the ambitious goal pursued by the participants of the elite Master's programme "Strategy and International Management" at the University of St. Gallen. But what exactly drives these young people to make it to the top? What are they willing to put up with and how do they reconcile their private and professional lives? To explore these questions, Swiss director Piet Baumgartner follows five HSG students from the start of their studies to their first steps in the working world. Refreshingly honest, open and sensitively narrated, his documentary not only provides a deep insight into their everyday lives, but also turns out to be a highly exciting generational and character study.
