Ada would rather read Dostoyevsky than listen to the repetitive small talk of her fellow students. When 18-year-old Alev joins her class, the precocious and highly talented 15-year-old is fascinated from the very start by such an extroverted and unapproachable being – and his superior intelligence. She recognises in him a fellow lateral thinker. When Ada falls in love with Alev, he reveals to her that his true passion is to play with other people as if they were pawns in a game of chess. “We shake up life and become the creators of a real drama”, says the self-confident Alev. He finds his first victim in the sports teacher Smutek. Ada is given the task of seducing the married man in order to change his life “as in a classic drama”.
