Shame

Brandon is a successful, 30-something guy living in a nice New York apartment. He tries to break the monotony of his everyday life by embarking on a series of uninhibited sexual adventures – until, like an addiction, they begin to take over. When his wayward younger sister Sissy unexpectedly moves in, Brandon has to adapt his wild bachelor lifestyle to his new guest and her self-destructive tendencies, and bad memories of the past begin to surface. While he attempts to avoid confrontation with his sister, his life spirals out of control. This is a film about the nature of human needs and the experiences that create them.
