Munich, 5 September 1972: Geoff, a young TV producer for US broadcaster ABC, is preparing to cover the second day of the Olympic Games when he hears gunshots. It soon becomes clear that Palestinian terrorists have taken eleven Israeli athletes hostage. With the help of a German interpreter, Geoff pushes the coverage forward, despite resistance from his superiors. Swiss filmmaker Tim Fehlbaum's thriller allows us to experience the dramatic hostage-taking through the eyes of the journalists. The film raises questions of media ethics. Whose story is it when the media report live on terror - that of the broadcaster or that of the terrorists?
