If there is anybody knowing everything about bicycles, then that would be Raoul Taburin. He is the official bicycle mechanic of Saint Céron, a pretty little village in southern France, where everyone admires him as a great bicycle hero. However, Raoul has a well-kept secret: he himself is unable to ride a bicycle without stabilisers. Throughout his childhood and adolescence he has managed to hide this fact – until he befriends the photographer Figougne, who wants to photograph him at full speed on a racing bike. Raoul attempts everything in his power to prevent the photo shoot, but the moment of truth has arrived, and it turns out that he is not the only one with a secret...
