In a modern, elegantly furnished property on the edge of a Danish forest, Anne’s life is taking its undisturbed course. She and her husband Peter have created a harmonious family home with their twin daughters. As a dedicated and successful lawyer who works for abuse victims and adolescents in trouble, Anne has a sense of right and wrong at any given moment. When Gustav, Peter’s son from a previous marriage, suddenly moves in with them, a veil of uncertainty slowly begins to fall over Anne’s life. The mysterious boy becomes an immoral temptation and she finds herself surrendering to a new world opening up – a world that no longer differentiates between right and wrong.
