Bouffant is an outstanding gourmet chef. He and his partner, Eugénie, cook for high-class guests and friends at his chateau. The couple has shared this mutual passion for more than 20 years. He compiles the menus, she carefully implements them. While the two harmonise in the kitchen, there are a few differences of opinion in their private relationship. Dodin wants to marry Eugénie.
