Moomins and the Winter Wonderland

This year, instead of hibernating, Moomin decides to stay awake in order to explore during winter time. Moomin Valley proves to be completely different in winter to what he had imagined. Strange creatures roam among the snowdrifts during nights of winter solstice, and a particularly mysterious guest named Christmas checks in. Together with Moominmamma, Moominpappa and his friends, the wild Little My and the wise Too-Ticky, Moomin discovers the meaning and the joys of this magical time. Found in children's books, comics and as an animated series, the Moomins are one of Finland’s most celebrated cultural exports. The Moomins are presented from a new perspective in this lovingly animated stop-motion film about community and kindness.
