The increasing infidelity in Chinas marriages has spawn an extraordinary profession: The goal of the «Mistress Dispeller» is to repair broken marriages. People like Wang Zhenxi end affairs and drive lovers away. She accepts the bid of an elderly woman to drive away the young mistress of her husband in order to save her seemingly model marriage. The documentary turns the audience into silent observers, able to gain intimate insights into personal destinies of all parties involved. Elizabeth Lo was born and raised in Hong Kong. She currently lives between Los Angeles and Hong Kong. She studied at the New York University and the Standford University.
