by Taeyang Kim
Three meanings are attributed to the Korean word "mimang": Lost and confused in the dark, unable to forget, and seeing things far and wide. Referring to these interpretations, the story is told of two people walking together through the changing streets of Seoul. The drama MIMANG is a declaration of love to life, interpersonal relationships, change and, last but not least, to cinema itself. Filmed over four years, Kim Taeyang's debut feature has a nostalgic, emotional impact that ushers in a new era of storytelling in Korean cinema.
