Summer on the Costa Brava. The 15-year-old, well-protected Nora faces a boring vacation: Her grandmother's Alzheimer's is progressing, and her younger sister is not exciting company either. But rescue is at hand in the form of Libertad, the Colombian housekeeper's daughter, who is as fiery as she is fearless. As opposite as the two girls are, their friendship soon becomes exciting and intimate – though it must remain secret at all costs. Director Clara Roquet tells a carefree story of friendship and alienation set against the backdrop of prevailing class differences in Spanish society.
