Corsica, 1995: Lesia’s first Summer as a teenager lies ahead of her. She spends it with her father, with whom she does not really have a close relationship. He lives in hiding as a Corsican separatist with his trusted followers. When a gang war breaks out Lesia discovers that her father is the leader of a clan in the Corsican mafia. This realisation confronts the teenager with a difficult decision: will she side with her father or with the law? A sensitive and intriguing father-daughter drama set in a beautiful Mediterranean scenery. 'This film is my discovery from Cannes: a tender mafia film from Corsica that makes you wish you could go there on vacation.' – Christian Jungen
