13-year-old Victor lives with his mother, Nadia, in a caravan by the sea where the beautiful Spanish girl from the family next door has caught his eye. His father, Samuel Rovinski, is a renowned conductor whom he has never set eyes on. When Samuel turns up in the nearby town to prepare for a performance of Mahler’s 6th symphony, Victor decides to make himself known. Out of the blue, his mother announces that they have to leave the caravan. He has the feeling she is hiding something.
