“The most important thing in this business is discretion.” While his uncle Gerry is out having a medical check-up in the city, teenager Sebastián is left alone for a couple of days to run the secluded, family-owned motel “Palma Real”. Few guests find their way to the tranquil coast near Veracruz, most of them for an intimate tête-à-tête. One such guest is Miranda, an attractive, mid-thirties estate agent who has arranged to meet her married lover Mario, but he’s late again. While she waits, Miranda and Sebastián get to know each other a little better: An innocent conversation, a shy smile, increasing attraction.... With its impressive imagery and Mexican charm, director Aarón Fernández captivates the audience with his minimalistic, light and unobtrusive film.
