Sunday, May 6, 2012 and the second heat in the race for the French presidency is under way. Today, TV journalist Laetitia must report live from the streets of Paris. But just as she is about to leave the apartment early one morning to leave her two daughters Jeanne and Liv with last-minute babysitter Marc, her ex-husband Vincent – a chaotic but amiable loser par excellence with whom she would rather never exchange another word – appears on the scene. Vincent expresses his right to spend the day with his daughters, something Laetitia is determined will not happen. While Laetitia smiles into the cameras on the Rue de Solférino, Vincent is hiring a lawyer. Two whining children, an overstrained babysitter, an hysterical ex, a city full of furious crowds and a day when France is divided – a meltdown is imminent! Private life crashes into public at breakneck speed in this lively film.
