The young generation of Italian cinema desires to differentiate itself from television drama and tell those honest stories which lie close to its heart: in his surreal film ADAVEDE Alain Parroni follows a young woman and her experiences after a long night of excess; Gregorio Franchetti's film CENA D'ARAGOSTE tells of a deep friendship that gives us an insight into Italian family life; EGO DEVOREM by Grazia Tricarico oscillates between horror and neo-romanticism and gives itself completely to (female) carnal desire; COSÌ IN TERRA by Pier Lorenzo Pisano is set in a village where the residents have to make a fresh start after an earthquake; and Michele Vannucci's film UNA STORIA NORMALE portrays Mirko, a true Roman eccentric and a central figure in the outskirts of La Rustica.
