When Anat returns to work after her vacation, she sees happy and familiar faces. Well-built, tattooed men welcome her as she takes her place back at the office. The social worker runs a small residential home for recently released prisoners and aids their reintegration into society. When an employee introduces her to a newcomer, Anat’s heart skips a beat: she already knows the man – and she knows that he cannot stay. Suddenly, her past begins to rear its ugly head. Set in present-day Tel Aviv, JUST FOR TODAY is dedicated to a group of people fighting for their place on the fringes of society. ZFF is screening the first two episodes of the controversial Israeli social drama series.
