"Honk for Jesus. Save your soul" is the mantra of the swanky pastor couple who aim to put their Baptist megachurch back in God's rightful light following a scandal. The hypocritical congregation, in which Pastor Lee-Curtis' wife Trinitie staged herself as the proud first lady, counted tens of thousands of members. Now the two are doing everything they can to fill the empty pews again. A bitter satire on evangelical free churches, which in the USA are courting new flocks with the promise of celebrity culture. With the hilarious performances by Regina Hall and Sterling K. Brown, the film mocks religious hypocrites.
