Jules makes regular appearances as a drag queen on London's nightlife scene. When he is brutally beaten up by a group of homophobic hooligans after a performance, he withdraws, only daring to go out in public again after three months. While visiting a gay sauna, he bumps into Preston, the un-outed leader of his gang of attackers. British director Sam H. Freeman has mainly worked as a screenwriter for television series. He collaborated on INDUSTRY as a writer and his first original series UNMASKED was sold to Disney. His short film FEMME won the award for Best British Short Film at the BAFTA Awards. The feature-length version of the film of the same name is Freeman's feature debut as a director. Ng Choon Ping graduated from York University and the Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. He has won several prestigious awards for his work as a theatre director. He has worked at the National Theatre in London, the Royal Exchange Theatre in Manchester, and the Singapore Repertory Theatre and others.
