En Fanfare

Thibaut is a successful orchestra conductor in Paris. When he falls ill with leukaemia, he hopes that his sister can help him with a bone marrow donation. However, a DNA test reveals that they are not actually related. When Thibaut confronts his mother, he not only learns that he is adopted, but also that he has a younger brother who leads a modest life in the French province and conducts a marching band. EN FANFARE is a humorous comédie humaine in which city meets country and high culture meets folk culture. A declaration of love to the unifying power of music.
