It should have been yet another wonderful evening when Stephan and his wife Elisabeth invited their friends for dinner at their home in Bonn. However, when gifted showman Thomas announces that he and his pregnant girlfriend Anna intend to call their son Adolf, the hosts and in particular family friend René are left choking on their appetizers. Disharmony begins to reign their evening as they begin to spit one better-left-unsaid-truth after another into each other’s face. Strong personalities clash, vanities are played off against one another and the evening slowly escalates: the discussion about the rights and wrongs of first names turns into a psychological game in which instead of entrees, sins and secrets are being served...
