A large estimated number of children are confronted with sexual harassment on the Internet. In order to document the immense extent of online abuse, a Czech film team dares to conduct a controversial experiment: they engage three adult actresses pretending to be 12-year-old girls on social media platforms and wait. The result is shocking: in just ten days, almost 2500 men check in. The filmmakers expose their perfidious procedures in digital space – and accompany the actresses to physical meetings. In their taboo-breaking documentary CAUGHT IN THE NET, directors Vít Klusák and Barbora Chalupová use radical methods to demonstrate the threats to which children are exposed on the Internet.
