GermanNobody was supposed to see the sex video, Emi just wanted to have some fun with her husband. But somehow the film ends up on the Internet and Emi, who works as a teacher, is quickly identified. Her job at a prestigious school is in jeopardy and the principal's hands are tied as the parents of the students demand her resignation. After an explicit opening sequence, director Radu Jude continues with an unflinching and highly amusing three-act account of the hypocritical double standards of our society, revealing that the real obscenities take place in everyday life. The film scooped the main prize at the 2021 Berlinale.
