Reaching New Heights!

Das  Zurich Film Festival ermöglicht acht Junior Führungskräften aus Vertrieb und Akquisition, von den Besten aus Hollywood zu lernen. Das dreitägige Talentförderprogramm ZFF Summit Climber findet vom 26. - 29. September 2025 im Rahmen des Zurich Summit, der prestigeträchtigen Boutique-Konferenz des Zurich Film Festival, im The Dolder Grand statt. 

Für das Programm fallen weder Teilnahme- noch Bewerbungsgebühren an. Die Reisekosten sind von den Teilnehmenden selbst zu tragen. Für Mitglieder von Europa Distribution und Europa International ist eine Beteiligung an den Reisekosten durch die jeweilige Organisation möglich.

Bewerbungen waren noch bis zum 27. Juli 2025 möglich.

Alexandra Da Silva - Protagonist Pictures

Alexandra is the International Sales Manager at Protagonist Pictures. She previously managed worldwide sales for the Protagonist and Film4 libraries, representing filmmakers such as Chloe Zhao, Ken Loach, Andrea Arnold and Sean Baker. Prior to her work in film sales, she worked as an independent producer across film and theatre, with short films premiering at London Film Festival, LSFF, Aesthetica and BFI Flare. 

Axelle Jean - Cinephil

Axelle Jean is the Festival and Marketing Manager at Cinephil, where she manages the company’s international festival strategy, maintains relationships with key programmers, and oversees marketing and delivery for a range of acclaimed documentaries, including The Wolves Always Come at Night, The Dating Game, and Under the Flags, the Sun. She supports Cinephil’s presence at major markets such as Berlinale, Cannes, and IDFA. Axelle holds a Master’s degree in Intercultural Communication, with a focus on Eastern Europe and Scandinavia, and also has an academic background in History. Previously she worked for Cannes Docs, The Party Film Sales, Cinéma du réel and Reykjavík International Film Festival. 

Estella Suplit - Wild Bunch Germany GmbH

Estella Suplit, born in Munich in 1991, studied International Producing at Filmakademie Baden-Württemberg. She began her career in 2019 in Acquisitions & Co-Productions at Plaion Films. In 2021, she co-founded the label MIA WALLACE for Wild Bunch AG with Pauline Striebeck. They develop and produce films and series from a female perspective. Estella also handles Acquisitions and local Co-Productions for Wild Bunch Germany.

Eva Duriez - Gaumont 

Eva Duriez, Festival Manager at French major Gaumont since 2022, has developed and implemented international strategies for over 40 films and series, guiding talents and producers through their festival journeys. In 2024, she expanded into international sales, managing deals across 35+ countries. With experience at StudioCanal and SND, she combines a keen sense for stories that resonate internationally with the strategic vision to connect bold creators to global audiences.

Francesco Tocci - I Wonder Pictures

After a Master’s in Political Science and a course in Cinema Distribution at ANICA, Francesco saw Acquisitions & Sales as the perfect mix of his passions: international relations, history and cinema. He currently handles acquisitions/business affairs at I Wonder Pictures, after roles at Banijay (as head of Documentary Unit) and GA&A (international sales). He is Rome-based, curious, and passionate about cinema, new global encounters and politics.

Matthias Ziegler - Epsilon Film GmbH

Matthias read German and Scandinavian Literature at the Ludwig-Maximilians-University before studying Production and Media Business at the University of Television and Film (HFF) in Munich. Before and during these studies, he worked as a unit and location manager on various German film sets, in the line producing departments of BAVARIA FICTION for such feature films as LUDWIG II, HOTEL LUX, DEATH OF A SUPERHERO and MR. MORGAN’S LAST LOVE and of ALL-IN-PRODUCTION for TV series like NELE NEUHAS – MURDER MYSTERIES and CAPE TOWN as well as at LEONINE’s operations department. Most recently, he served as Manager, Acquisitions, Co-Productions & Sales at TELEPOOL/GLOBAL SCREEN, and had previously worked as an independent producer. Since 2023, he has been building up the world sales company EPSILON FILM from scratch as VP Acquisitions & Sales under the umbrella of the BETA FILM Group.

Nuno Pimentel - Rapid Eye Movies

Nuno Pimentel (b.1992) is a Portuguese film professional and filmmaker.

He studied at Escola Superior Artística do Porto and Royal Holloway, University of London. In Portugal, he worked with the distribution company Alambique, coordinating the release label Cinema BOLD. In 2019 he was selected to the Locarno Industry Academy and in 2020 moved to Berlin to attend the professional training programme NEXT WAVE. Since 2022 he’s been working on marketing and international distribution at the German company Rapid Eye Movies.

Sara Schöchli - Sky UK

Sara Schöchli began her career at Sony Music in Munich before earning an MA in Media Management from Royal Holloway. She joined Sky UK in 2019 and has worked as an Acquisitions Executive across all Sky Entertainment channels—covering series, factual, and kids content—as well as on group acquisitions for the UK, Italy, and DACH across series, cinema, and Sky Store. She now serves as Senior Acquisitions Executive, focusing on feature film acquisitions for Sky Cinema.
