The 18th Zurich Film Festival takes place from September 22 to October 2, 2022. Tickets for the 18th ZFF go on sale on Monday, September 12, 2022 from 12 noon. Already available are festival passes (Day Pass, Festival Half-Fare Card, Festival-GA) as well as vouchers.

Sold out is not sold out
In the case of sold-out screenings, it may be possible to obtain re-released tickets 45 minutes before the start of the film.

Means of payment
You can pay easily and conveniently in all festival venues using cash and contactless payment methods.

Door opening / film start
Doors open 15 minutes before the film starts. Films start on time and are shown without intermission.

Filmmakers on site
The filmmakers are present at many screenings. The attendance is noted on the respective film page at the screening times.

Where can I buy tickets?

 
Ticket sale online

Tickets will be available on zff.com from Monday September 12, from 12.00 noon. All tickets are available via the respective film pages under Programme. Click on a film and select a screening. Your tickets will be reserved for you for 30 minutes in the shopping cart. A My ZFF account is not required to purchase tickets.

  • blue Cinema Corso: 12.9.–2.10., 16:00–21:00 (except 21.9.)

* Afternoon screenings are all screenings that start before 6pm from Monday to Friday. An afternoon ticket entitles the holder to 1 free admission to the Minicity on the same day (except Sunday). Tickets: zff.com/kinderbetreuung

** AHV/IV/Legi/KulturLegi: The corresponding card must be shown at admission.

Please note: The system fee is CHF 0.80 per ticket and will be added to the purchase of a ticket, pass or cinema voucher. The General Terms and Conditions of the ZFF apply.

Festival Passes

 
Day Pass CHF 49.- / Reduced CHF 37.-*

Holders of a Day Pass can obtain one ticket per screening free of charge for a maximum of 4 screenings per day. The Day Pass must be presented upon admission and is non-transferable.

*Reduction with AHV/IV/Legi/KulturLegi: The corresponding card must be presented upon admission.
 

Festival Half-Fare Card CHF 59.-

Holders of a Festival Half-Fare Card can purchase one ticket per screening with a 50% discount for a maximum of 4 screenings per day. The Festival Half-Fare Card must be presented upon admission and is non-transferable. The Half-Fare Card is valid for the entire duration of the Festival.
 

Festival-GA CHF 280.-

Holders of a Festival-GA can obtain one ticket per screening free of charge for a maximum of 4 screenings per day. The Festival-GA must be presented upon admission and is non-transferable. The GA is valid for the entire duration of the Festival.
 

Notes on Festival Passes:
Excluded for all Festival Passes and Vouchers are the Special Galas and the Golden Icon Award. Festival Passes can be used to obtain tickets as long as they are available, but there is no entitlement to a ticket. The system fee is CHF 0.80 per ticket and will be added to the purchase of a ticket, pass or voucher.

Voucher CHF 29.-

A voucher can be used to purchase 1 ticket of your choice at a maximum price of CHF 29.80 (incl. system fee).

Childcare


With a ZFF afternoon ticket, you can get one free admission to the Minicity. In the Minicity, your child between the ages of 3 and 8 will be looked after for four hours while you enjoy the ZFF. The places are limited. 

Both the ZFF cinema ticket and the Minicity and an official ID must be presented for childcare.

The child can be looked after for a maximum of four hours and must be collected by 19:00 at the latest. The responsible person must be reachable via mobile phone for emergencies during the whole time.
